November- a month devoted to diabetes

14. November 2018. November is declared as Diabetes Month, a time when communities across the world team up to bring attention to diabetes and its impact on people all over the globe. Statistics says that 425 million adults worlwide have diabetes and that 1 in 2 remains undiagnosed, so it is very important to expand awareness of this disease.

Zagreb City Holding joined the global initiative in marking the World Health Day on November 14th. On Wednesday, November 14th, the Zagreb City Holding, along with partners Roche and City Pharmacies ,  organized blood glucose measurement and diabetes prevention counseling at the Consumer Center. The action was attended by numerous citizens who talked with the staff of the City Pharmacy Zagreb on all important issues related to this disease.
