Danijela Dolenec and
Luka Korlaet, held a meeting on Friday, June 11 with the Management Board of Zagreb Holding headed by
Ana Stojić Deban and the Supervisory Board led by
Ljubo Jurčić. At these meetings, they reported on the situation in Zagreb Holding and the loss that occurred in 2020.
At today's meeting, the Assembly of Zagreb Holding dismissed the current Supervisory Board and the Management Board of Zagreb Holding and appointed a Supervisory Board consisting of three members: President of the Supervisory Board
Suzana Brenko and members of the Supervisory Board
Ratko Bajakić and
Damir Topić.
A partial composition of the Management Board of the Holding of two members was also appointed: The President of the Management Board
Nikola Vuković and a member of the Management Board
Ante Samodol.
The remaining three members of the Management Board and the remaining members of the Supervisory Board will be selected in public tenders, which will be announced as soon as possible.
Zagreb Holding and subsidiaries, according to the audited consolidated report in 2020, for the first time in the last seven years reported a total comprehensive loss of HRK 305 million. Given the current situation urgent action is needed to begin restructuring as soon as possible. The immediate tasks of the new Management Board are the analysis of the current situation, refinancing of short-term liabilities, control and stopping of unnecessary costs, and preparation of the basis for the restructuring of the Holding.

Suzana Brenko
Born in Pula and graduated in 1992 from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. An experienced manager with more than twenty years of experience, she started her career in the Ministry of Finance where she spent eight years, and among other things she was the President of the Management Board of Croatia Bank. President of the Confiscated Property Compensation Fund, Executive Director of Addiko Bank. For the last four years, she has been successfully engaged in consulting work, with special emphasis on restructuring and business management. She was also a member of several Supervisory Boards.
Ratko Bajakić
Born in Zagreb in 1965, he graduated in 1992 from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, majoring in economic theory and analysis, and in his work he has more than 25 years of experience in management positions in investment banking in Croatia and other EU countries. He is also director and majority owner of the ICF joint stock company for services, whose main business activities are the management activities of the holding company and business and management consulting. As the owner, director or member of the Supervisory Board, he managed more than 40 companies in Croatia, including the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Valamar Riviera, Brodospas, ETF Airways, Croatia Bank, Luxima. He started his career as a manager at Investmentbank Austria, the investment bank of the largest Austrian bank - Bank Austria in Vienna and Prague. In Croatia, together with his partners, he ran the leading Croatian investment company ICF, which he took over in 2004.
Damir Topić
Born in 1967, graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb in 1990. He is one of the founders and co-owners of the Law Firm Divjak, Topić, Bahtijarević & Krka from Zagreb, the leading Croatian law firm for commercial law and company law. During his more than 30-year career, Damir Topić has been recognized for his work on some of the most prominent takeover and merger transactions, as well as for representing numerous international corporations and financial institutions when investing in Croatia. According to leading international directories, Damir Topic is one of the leading lawyers in Croatia in the field of takeovers and mergers, banking law and capital markets. He is the author of a number of articles in specialized magazines and a speaker at professional meetings of International Bar Associations.
Nikola Vuković
Born in 1959 in Koljane, Vrlika, and graduated from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb in 1983, majoring in economics and theory. He worked at the Republic Institute for Social Planning / Ministry of Economic Development / State Institute for Macroeconomic Analysis and Forecasting (the same state institution that changed its name) from 1984 to 1996. He was an expert advisor, senior expert advisor to the Minister, head of the Department for Regional development and the director of the Croatian State Bureau. He worked on the preparation of analyzes, development strategies, proposals for economic policy measures, edited the monthly publication of the Bureau, managed the department and the institution. In the Croatian Auto Club (HAK) he was the President of the Supervisory Board from 1995 to 1996 and Deputy President of Croatian Auto Club from 1996 to 1997. From 1997 to 2007, he was a member of the Croatian Auto Club management: Assistant, Deputy and General Secretary of the Croatian Auto Club. He managed the company, consolidated and stabilized the business of Croatian Auto Club. Managed projects for the establishment of new technological systems, digitalization of business, construction of business facilities. For the results in leading the Croatian Auto Club, he received the highest international recognition of the world automobile association AIT for the development of auto clubs. From 2007 to 2018, he was employed by Zagreb Holding, was Assistant to the President of the Management Board for Strategy and Development, Director of the Corporate Development Department, Director of the Human Resources Management, Development and Corporate Communications Sector. Worked on the development and development plans, business improvement and rationalization projects, EU projects, waste management projects, managed the Office and the Sector. Since 2019, he has been involved in investments in global financial markets.
Ante Samodol
Born in Drniš in 1965, Ante Samodol graduated in 1989 from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, majoring in Finance, Banking, Insurance. He also has a master's degree and a doctorate from the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb. He has more than 30 years of work experience, of which more than 20 years in management positions in foreign trade, banking, the public sector and education. From 2013 to 2014 he was a member of the Management Board of Zagreb Holding in charge of finances. He was a member of the Financial Reporting Standards Committee, Assistant Minister of Finance and a member of the negotiating working group for Chapter IX - Financial Services, in the process of Croatia's accession to the EU. He is a participant in the establishment and the first President of the Management Board of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) and a person responsible for the development and implementation of EU regulations in the field of financial services. He has acquired professional development and education at home and abroad at business schools, universities and financial institutions such as Business School Bled, University of Sussex, NYSE, SEC Washington, FINRA Washington, FSA London, UBS NY and others. He has a valid ZSE brokerage license. He has been teaching at Libertas International University in Zagreb since 2013, and has been the Vice-Rector for Students, Organization and Business since 2016. He teaches Finance and Monetary Economics and Securities Business. He is the author of two books on investment funds and several scientific and professional papers in the field of finance, monetary and fiscal policy.
