Public parking services in public open-air and underground car parks

The organization of stationary traffic is the responsibility of the branch Zagrebparking. Zagrebparking provides public car park and public garage services along with services of removal, relocation and towing of illegally parked, significantly damaged and abandoned motor vehicles (wrecks) and caravans as ordered by the city’s municipal services and transport monitoring officer.

The city is divided into four parking zones to which different parking charges apply:
  • Charges apply from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm in Zone 1 and from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm in Zones 2 and 3
  • Charges apply in all zones on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
  • Exceptionally, charges apply in Zone IV.1 on weekdays from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, and there are no parking charges on Saturdays and Sundays; in Zone IV.2 charges apply on weekdays and on Saturdays from 7:00 am to 20:00 pm.
  • Exceptionally, parking charges apply on weekdays and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Paromlin Car Park in Zone IV.2.
  • Exceptionally, parking charges apply from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays and from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturdays  at the Stjepan Radić Square in Zone II.1.
There are no parking charges for the duration of the official shows at the Zagreb Fair in Zone II.2, comprising Zagreb Fair - South, and in Zone IV.1, comprising Zagreb Fair - East and Zagreb Fair - West.
In Zone I.1, charges apply 0-24 h on weekdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.  Disability parking permits are not accepted in Zone I.1.
 
PAYING FOR PARKING SERVICES

You can buy your parking ticket at the parking meter, our contract partners’ news-stands or on your mobile phone using the m-parking service.
Electronic parking tickets are also available as of early 2015. The so-called commercial electronic parking tickets are available at contract partners’ news-stands.
Electronic residential parking permits and commercial parking tickets are also available online.
The same applies to daily parking tickets.
Zagrebparking operates seven public garages. In addition to daily parking tickets, customers can save by buying daily, weekly or monthly public garage tickets.
Monthly night-time public garage parking ticket prices start at as low as HRK 50. Customers can park their cars at the garage as early as at 5:00 pm and can stay by 9:00 am on the next day.

BUYING A RESIDENTIAL PARKING PERMIT
 
Residents of streets in parking charge zones and legal entities, physical persons with registered crafts and persons with registered independent professions seated in the zones or using  commercial real estate properties located in the zones are eligible for residential parking permits (RPP).
 
Residential parking permits are not subject to parking time limits and are valid for a maximum of 12 months.
